Welcome to my homepage!
Here you'll find links to my lesson plans and other things I've used through my years of homeschooling
my daughter. I hope you find them helpful. If you'd like to ask me a question or get more information, please contact
me at The Homeschool Library. I'm there all the time!
I’m an eclectic homeschooler. I’ve used many, MANY different curricula
through the years. I’ve used some classical methods, some literature methods, some hands-on, some unit studies, and some textbooks.
I am always willing to look at new things or turn back to the tried-and-true if that’s what’s best. The main thing is to find what
works. Sometimes what *I* like isn’t what’s best for my daughter. It’s a work in progress.
You’ll find that my emphasis is on
solid materials that are easy for the parent to pick up and teach. I don’t like to have to read a long manual to figure out how to
use a program. I also like materials that don’t waste my time or my student’s time. Time is precious, there’s no sense in lots of
twaddle or busy work in a homeschool environment.
